TOEFL Speaking Task 3: Academic Lecture
In this task, you will first read a short passage on a scientific topic. This passage explains a concept, theory, or phenomenon, often in the fields of biology, physics, or psychology. The reading usually presents an idea and may include one or two examples to illustrate the point.
Then, you will listen to a lecture where a professor elaborates on the topic. The professor will likely provide one or two specific examples to help explain or illustrate the point made in the reading. These examples may either support the reading or offer further details or clarification.
